1 Month
This Friday marked TJ's 1 month birthday. The month has passed in a blur of sleepless nights that we wouldn't change for the world because when we wake up we have our little angel sleeping next to us and we couldn't be happier.
TJ continues to grow and change so rapidly. At his one month check up he weighed 10lbs 5oz. His little cheeks are filling out to the point that it is hard to control yourself from kissing them all day. His lanky arms are showing signs of rolls slowly forming as he gains weight and his hair is lightening, making him look more and more like his Daddy every day.
This month has been largely dominated by just trying to figure out a new routine for our little family. On the way though we have had a ton of fun. Here are some pictures of TJ's adventures this month.

Still Waiting
I was certain last night that my doctors appointment today would be an eventful one. I was sure they would tell me I was progressing and would be in full blown labor soon. I've had so many weird aches and pains that I assumed were my body preparing for labor but I was wrong. I am 0 centimeters dilated and 0% effaced. That certainly was not what I wanted to hear. TJ is happy where he is at and isn't showing any signs of coming out.
My blood pressure was high again and TJ's activity levels have seemed to decrease a little so they decided to send me over to Sierra Vista Hospital to be put on the monitor for awhile. After 20 very un eventful minutes I was free to go. My blood pressure was back to normal and TJ's heart rate and activity level was fine.
So, now we are back to the waiting game.

Two Weeks
I can't believe we only have 2 weeks till our due date! The pregnancy flew by but now that we are down to the final few weeks I find myself very impatient and anxious to meet TJ. I can't sleep because I am so uncomfortable and even when I get into a comfy spot, I am so excited that the baby is coming soon I can't get myself to fall asleep. I just lay in bed wide awake thinking about what he will look like, how I will handle labor, and making strategies for who will take care of what once we get home. I think everyone around me is getting tired of the overly sleepy, hormonal version of myself I have become.
We are once again hoping for good news that TJ will be coming sooner rather than later when we go to the doctor this week but I'm not holding my breath. I have a feeling he will take his time and come later. Regardless, please keep your fingers crossed for us as we creep closer to our due date that labor and delivery of our son goes smoothly and TJ comes out strong and healthy!

Getting Ready
With 5 weeks till our due date the Kelly household is in major nesting mode. Jimmy has been tackling big projects like installing new windows in our house and I've been going crazy organizing and then re organizing the nursery. We are slowly but surely getting ready for the next stage in our lives. We are anxious and ready for our little guy to make his appearance into the world and for us to officially be a family!
Getting our cloth diapers ready to go!
TJ's Nursery. We just finished applying the wall decals. Each leaf had to be individually applied!
We are now seeing Dr. Monroy every week and this weeks appointment was no different than the rest. TJ is active, healthy and head down...ready to go! I've been having an increasing number of Braxton Hicks contractions but nothing regular yet. I say bring it on kid! We're ready for you!!!!
This week I also did a maternity photo shoot. This was not something I was looking forward to but so many people told me to document my big ol' belly otherwise I would regret not having something to look back on to remember my pregnancy. So here is the first proof.
I'm not sure how I feel about it but there it is. I can't believe I'm still going to get bigger...YIKES!
